Every school goer has studied the Pythagoras' theorem name after the ancient Greek mathematician Pythagoras. The theorem states that "In a right angled triangle, the square of the hypotenuse is equal to the sum of the square of the other two sides". However, way before Pythagoras, an Indian mathematician by the name of Baudhayana had come up with a similar theorem. How many of us knew about this piece of trivia? It is interesting to note that an Indian has contributed to this theorem way before the Greek mathematician came up with it.
